ClosedAccessing the Clinical Portal from the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS)

Clinical Portal users will be able to access a Registrant Record from a dynamic link in CPRS. When a user accesses a record from CPRS, they will be able to send the Questionnaire summary to CPRS as a Progress Note.

Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW) integration

If the CPRS user has a 5 digit station code and does not have CCOW they will be asked to select their station to continue. If they have CCOW the registrant record will open.

If the Registrant is not found in the AHOBPR Clinical Portal, the system will display the Patient Not Found page and allow the user to go to the search page.

Sending Progress Notes to CPRS

When a user accesses a record from CPRS they will be able to send the Clinically Relevant Summary to CPRS as an unsigned Progress Note.

On the Registrant Information Header, users will click the Write Summary as Progress Note button to send the Progress Note.

Note: -_ If a Progress Note has already been sent to this CPRS instance for this user, the Write Summary as Progress Note button will not be displayed.

After the Progress Note has been sent, the user can log into CPRS and see the unsigned Progress Note in the Patient Record.
